From the first moment I saw you on the soccer field, you had blown me away. You had shown me then that you have such a great balance in life, by the way you held yourself on the field. You were super talented, athletic, GORGEOUS, competitive...just damn good at soccer, but you kept a great attitude, you smiled, you laughed, your eyes twinkled, you included everybody....you were mysterious.
I only saw you a few times after that, but something always drew me to you. I was ecstatic when you asked me to come to a party at your house, and then to catch up after I got back to Baltimore from my trip to Ireland that summer. Our friendship grew, something I thought would be the ONLY attainable relationship I could have with you. But then for some reason, I decided to be bold, and I asked you to kiss me, and you did. From then on, we've demanded the very best of one another, and I love that we don't settle for less. We push against each other, only to raise one another up. It's like we're sitting back to back on the ground, and the only way to stand is to lean against one another with everything we've got. I love where you take me intellectually, emotionally, physically, spiritually. You are everything I have dreamed about having, and its like living a dream in real time every second I'm with you |
