| This tree is for Bernie and I. We met in October, '13 and it was the classic movie and dinner date turned into long conversations and kisses by the end of the night. I had never been more nervous to go on a date with anyone because even our conversations online seemed as though we couldn't wait until the next message, especially for the one that broke the ice and he asked me out. I thought that he was too good to be true when we spoke online, eventually in person as well. He is knowledgeable, honest, talented in many creative aspects and humble to a fault. My mind was telling me to be on guard and perfect like any other date, but the difference was in my heart. I feel at ease with Bernie. He has been an incredible man to those around him and now chose me to be by his side. Each day he thinks of new ways to impress me with his dedicated heart, opulent mind and caring soul. Bernie has brought so many wonderful things into my life. He has shown me what it is like to be truly loved and cared for in opportunities most others take for granted. I'm hard pressed and finding it exceptionally difficult to express how grateful and fortunate I am to have such a wonderful person in my life and especially by my side. I chose this Paper Mulberry in veneration of how we introduced ourselves to each other by connecting over an anime we watched as kids... and later, adults. It took something as simple as a TV show I watched and loved as a child to lead me on an amazing journey with such a wonderful man. No words I can say or write can express the connection I feel with my Bernie. |
