I don't want to hurt a real tree so here is a pretend one!
This is kind of lame but I wanted to come up with a lot of things that we can do when we miss each other.
And at least you know that I was thinking of you for 5 minutes while I made this! ^^
One of the suggestion for this is to "tell the story of your love", so I'm going to use this space to tell you about the day we met from my perspective.
As you know, first I drunk-texted you to meet up for breakfast! Because I wanted to see you but didn't think we could get together at 2AM for the first time. =) And I'm super glad that I did, because I was able to meet you a few hours later. You suggested IHOP (which I still haven't ever been to - we should do that!) and so I had lots of time to be nervous as I drove from my house in the North to the south. You let me know where you parked, and I was nervous because I didn't know if I should park close to you.. I thought that might be weird. But I also didn't know what your truck looked like because an F-150 didn't mean anything... so I just decided not to park next to any black trucks. =) (I actually didn't see your truck though). Then I didn't know what to do - should I meet you inside IHOP? stand outside my car? Go and find you? So I decided to stand outside my car, and felt like a complete idiot. I then focused on worrying about a) if I would recognize you from your pictures, and b) that you actually looked like your pictures. I was praying that you did! Finally I saw you walk around the end of my car. The first thing I noticed is how tall you are. =) The second was your leather jacket. =) haha and the third was I was really happy that you looked like your pictures, and that you were also hot. My next thought was 'Oh no, what if he's not interested in me?" but I decided to try to not think about that as we went into IHOP. As you know, IHOP was insane, and so we decided to drive around and look for something else. You offered to drive and your truck is SUPER high so I had to like jump into it, and I hoped I didn't look like an idiot. I was really stressed out at this point, because I could tell that you didn't really know where to go, and not only do I not know that area, but as you know I am really bad a picking things on the fly and making suggestions, especially with someone that I just met and ESPECIALLY someone I am interested in. Thankfully you suggested somewhere! We went in and there was a little bit of a wait.. and I was trying desperately to think of questions to ask you. It wasn't TOO hard because I was interested in getting to know you. I really enjoyed the breakfast that we had, although the sun was in my eyes a little so I couldn't see GREAT, but it wasn't too bad. I really enjoyed just talking with you, and was hoping that you liked me too! I remember driving home and I was texting my sister asking her if I should text you to say that I had a good time. As I was waiting for her answer, you texted me. =) I was super happy because I REALLY wanted to see you ASAP, but I wasn't going to ask you because I didn't want to bother you. So I was beyond happy that you asked me. And that's the story of how we met as told by Steph. |
