Derek, it's hard to believe that it's already been a month with you, mi amore. You truly are the moon of my life, the man I see myself with for the rest of my life. Though we may have to be apart for the time being because of my health, know that my heart belongs with you wherever you are and wherever you go. You've helped me to become a better person and to strive for becoming the person you see me as. Though I may not be perfect as a sole human being, I have found my perfection in us together.
