| When I first saw Mengyang (Joy), I thought she was the most beautiful girl in the world. I had butterflies in my stomach and was diagnosed with asthma (she took my breathe away). Our first date was at the movie theater, where we saw Jurassic World. We didn't talk much, due to movie policies. After the movies, I asked her if she wanted to grab dinner with me the next day. She had a smile on her face and replied, "Sure". The next day as I was parked in front of her house, I saw her walking to my car; I could not believe someone that pretty would be going out with me (I felt so lucky and still am). I gave her a hug and opened the car door. Before I put on my seat belt, I reached back and grabbed a rose I bought for her. I gave the rose to her and her face lit up. She then told me that I was the first guy that had ever given her flowers. I felt I was the man and on top of the world. At dinner, we got to know each other through a glass of red wine. Our night was filled with laughter and chemistry. 2 weeks later on June 28 I asked Joy to be my girlfriend and she said yes. |
