| We spent 5 weeks in the woods together. 5 weeks with people who didn't support us being together, 5 weeks in a complete hellhole. Our sanctuary was the lords stage. Surrounded by trees and gorgeous views (you being the best view, the overlook being the second, trees being the third). It was where we found our love. It was where we had our first kiss in the sunset. We spent many days there just holding each other and letting the hell of our surroundings fade away. This tree is a statement of those woods that simultaneously trapped us and guided us to each other. This tree is a statement of those 5 weeks we spent together, growing our love in the most unlikely of places, and our perseverance through hard times. I love you, Katy. You and me forever. |
