My husband is truly my soul mate. He's my best friend, lover, perfect husband; he's kind, gentle, understanding. On our first date he took me to the top of the mountain, spread a blanket on the ground, and we slow danced to Trace Adkins; then laid on the blanket and watched the stars. How romantic! I fell in love with him that night and have been ever since. There was even a time a few years back when I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, but he never left me, even when we were homeless because of it. He supported me and helped me get better - the whole time he carried me - thru the hospitals, the rages, everything. We have been together 9 years, and I know we'll be together for all eternity. When we die, we are going to be cremated and our ashes kept in the urns. When the other one of us dies, my son is going to put our ashes together in one urn (along with our 2 dogs), and take all 4 of us to the beach and set us free, where we can ride the wind and be free forever. I teased him that if I go before he does, I wanted him to set me on top of the entertainment center. That way, I could see every woman that he brings into the house; I'd then "rattle my lid" and scare the crap out of her! He got a big laugh out of that one :))
I couldn't imagine myself with anyone else, not even if he goes before me. Someone sang a Garth Brooks song at our wedding, "If tomorrow never comes", well, just like he sings in the song, my husband DID give me enough love to last...it'll last until the day we meet again, and then go on forever. I don't need anyone else. I love you baby, with all my heart...
