| We have been married for 25 years...but it still feels like we are newlyweds. I can't believe it has been that long. Time flies by too fast. We cannot be apart from one another too long or we both start to feel anxious. His precence is a soothing strength that can keep sadnesss, fear, stress and everyday crap from penetrating to me. I cannot sleep peacefully unless we are curled up together like spoons.. with his toasty rump burrowed up against me and my arm holding him tight. Through the years of turmoil, we have stood together and it all washes away. In the end, you will not take anything with you when you leave this world, except the love you gave and the love you recieved...and as long as you can make each other laugh during times of despair....your love will last forever. |
