Dear Eugene...
I wanted to give you something to symbolize my love for you. I chose the carving on a Bur Oak tree cause it is one of the most massive oak trees, such as my love for you is so massive sometimes I feel like I couldn't love you more than I do today, but I know that will change as we continue our lives together and watch our children grow. The bark on this tree can appear weathered and rugged but we both know that life isn't always easy and sometimes you may have to weather some storms to have that next sunshiney day. I chose the heart carving as I've told you many times before that you had my heart from day one, even if I didn't always let on how fast I was falling for you. ( wink wink)If I was ever given a chance to show you how much you mean to me and how grateful I am for your love this would be it. I love you so much.
