I remember in the airport,when we stood at the
foot of the escalator,the way you hugged me.Or
was it I that was holding on so tight?I could
feel your heart and I could hear it's beating
rhythm echoing in my head.It was going so fast.
That was the only reason I could let you go.
Knowing how your heart raced gratified my own
my own heart.It helped me gain a better sense
of how you felt and I needed that to have hope
of seeing you again.
