From the very first night I met you I was in awe of you and I figured it would be easy to fall in love with you. I proved myself right.... the day we first kissed. Believe it or not that kiss still lingers on me and I can still feel the warmth of your embrace envelope me at times. I have loved you since then.
I decided to dedicate this tree to you as a symbol of my love for you. I chose Bur Oak, because like my love for you, it grows deciduously away from all others. The Bur Oak also has a life span of 200 - 300 years and I believe that my love for you spans a lifetime. I chose to carve a perfect heart because I still believe that you are the perfect person for me.
Delando, despite our trials, and I know it's been hard for the both of us.... I would be with no one else in the world but you. I want nothing more than to build a future with you.... Help me build it.
