Dear Jimmy,
tomorrow is our 8-month anniversary, but I won't be around, so I guess this is an early Happy Anniversary from me.
You know, I talk to you for hours every day, and now we write daily e-mails to express our love and appreciation for each other, and still, I feel like somehow, I'm lacking in effort. Somehow, I'm not letting you know how much I love you.
This is why I planted this tree. I always thought it'd be romantic, having our initials carved into a tree to preserve for centuries, but with the whole save the environment thing nowadays, I guess this is the next best thing. I want to preserve as much of our moments and memories as possible together, and the tree is one of the ways. Our initials are locked together inside the heart Jimmy. We can't get out if we tried.
Today, 8 months minus 1 day after the first time you kissed me, the feeling of being in your arms, of being kissed by you - it's just as magical as it was then. And now that I know what it feels like to be in this magical world, there's no way I'm leaving. Just keep doing whatever you have been doing Jimmy. There is nothing else in this world that can even come close to making me this deliriously happy.
You. You are my world, my partner, my prince, my soulmate. And so much more.
