Dear Patrick,
I chose an oak tree because it is strong and fire resistant. Our relationship already has been through a few storms and once we are married we may have to go through stronger storms and probably even a fire. I pray we are able to stand strong and resist.
I want to stand strong and do right thing before we are married; and once we are married hold close together with the Lord.
May the Lord bless us and hear our prayers...
